In 2005, work began to develop Dream Cymbals and Gongs, a completely hand hammered and hand shaped line, manufactured in the great Wuhan Region of China. By bringing together an ancient family tradition of Chinese cymbal and gong artistry and Dream's equally formidable passion for creating exceptional quality instruments, these beautifully musical cymbals were born and have quickly been gaining critical acclaim in the drumming community. BLISS the flagship line of cymbals from Dream, are vintage style cymbals with a warm, rich undertone, which doesn't overpower the sticking. Their clear pitch and low to dark hum, makes these cymbals exceptionally versatile and suitable for most musical applications.
Vintage BLISS truly capture the feel of the early 1920’s Turkish cymbals with a personality all their own. Offered in select sizes, the Vintage Bliss are a totally hand hammered, microlathed cymbal with a low bridge and small clear bell. The warm undertones and rich wash when played on the edge make these cymbals great for low volumes where control is a must.
The CONTACT series is known for a brighter stick presence and livelier response. The completely hand hammered and shaped B23 alloy offers a brighter pitch but still holds it's rich warmth. Contacts are med- thin cymbals with that trademark shimmering wash that drives the sound forward and up.
The ENERGY series offers a modern sound palette in a machine-hammered cymbal. The sound is loud, bright, and offers great detail, perfect for anyone playing in an amplified setting where volume and clarity is everything!
